Night Flight
There’s something oddly satisfying about a 0:50 flight out of Haneda. By the time you’ve navigated the airport, endured the boarding process, and settled into your economy seat (or “monkey class,” as I affectionately call it), exhaustion has done its job. It’s lights out before you even realize you’re airborne. Sleeping 6–7 hours straight in economy might sound like a myth, but late-night flights make it possible. The hum of the engines becomes white noise, and the dimmed cabin lights lull you into an almost miraculous slumber. No distractions, no fuss—just uninterrupted rest. When you wake up, groggy but functional, you’re one step closer to your destination and maybe, just maybe, feeling like you’ve hacked the economy class experience.
