Toyama, located on the northern coast of Japan’s Honshu Island, is a beautiful prefecture known for its stunning natural scenery, rich history, and fresh seafood. Surrounded by the dramatic Tateyama Mountain Range, Toyama is a gateway to the famous Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, where visitors can experience breathtaking views, towering snow walls in spring, and scenic hiking trails in summer and autumn. The Kurobe Gorge, with its scenic railway, offers an unforgettable journey through lush forests, steep cliffs, and clear rivers. Toyama Bay is renowned for its fresh seafood, particularly firefly squid and snow crab, making the region a must-visit for food lovers.
