Esplanadi
Esplanadi, often called “Espa,” is a beautiful and iconic park and boulevard located in the heart of Helsinki, Finland. It serves as a central meeting point for both locals and visitors, offering a peaceful green space amidst the bustling city. Stretching from Erottaja Square to Market Square by the harbor, it is flanked by Pohjoisesplanadi (North Esplanade) and Eteläesplanadi (South Esplanade), making it a key feature of Helsinki’s cityscape.
The park is known for its well-maintained lawns, flowerbeds, and tree-lined paths. Benches are scattered throughout, providing inviting spots for relaxation and people-watching. At its center stands a statue of Johan Ludvig Runeberg, Finland’s national poet, surrounded by a picturesque garden.
