Japanese Breakfast
In addition to the uncomfortable pillow, the one thing I do not like that much is the traditional Japanese breakfast we always get in a Ryokan. Just too much of the salty stuff and not enough of the sweet one. Not to mention the lack of coffee.

Wasabi Farm
Large wasabi farm in Nagano. By the way, if it hurts then nose when you eat it, it’s not wasabi but tainted horseradish. Even in Japan, what you find in most restaurants is not real wasabi, and the green paste they sell in tubes is definitely NOT wasabi. Strange there are no regulations on this.
