Fujisan

Fujisan, or Mount Fuji, is Japan’s iconic and tallest peak, standing at 3,776 meters and located on the border of Shizuoka and Yamanashi prefectures. Revered as a sacred symbol of Japan, this nearly symmetrical volcanic cone has inspired artists, poets, and pilgrims for centuries. Climbing Mount Fuji is a popular summer activity, with thousands of hikers ascending to witness breathtaking sunrises from its summit. For those who prefer a more leisurely experience, the mountain can be admired from surrounding areas like the Fuji Five Lakes, offering stunning views reflected in tranquil waters, or the Chureito Pagoda, where the combination of Fuji, cherry blossoms, and a traditional pagoda creates a postcard-perfect scene. Whether for spiritual reflection, adventure, or simply appreciating its majestic beauty, Fujisan remains an unforgettable symbol of Japan’s natural and cultural heritage.

Here are some of the photos I captured during my visits. Enjoy your virtual tour!
