On holidays in Hokkaido, I wanted to travel light so decided to leave the RF50mm/f1.2L at home and took a much lighter RF50mm/f1.8 with me. Of course, it’s nowhere as good as the 1.2 but is the L version ten times as good (as it roughly costs 10 times as much). Not sure… I hope Sigma starts releasing RF lenses soon because the Canon RF L lenses are just too expensive IMHO.

What a delicious way to start our vacation : a lovely lunch at the Alchimiste in Tokyo. Apart from the food, the one thing I appreciate most in Michelin Star Restaurants is the service. It is both friendly and efficient but without being intrusive.
