XF 16mm f/1.4
With all my Canon gear sold, I needed a new wide-angle lens for my Fuji setup. After a lot of back-and-forth, I narrowed it down to three options: the XF 10-22mm f/4, XF 14mm f/2.8, and XF 16mm f/1.4. In the end, weather sealing and the large aperture of the 16mm f/1.4 won me over, beating out the lighter weight of the 14mm and the wider angle of the 10-22mm. The lens hasn’t disappointed—its sharpness and creamy bokeh are incredible, and the 15cm minimum focusing distance is a game-changer (more on that soon). Below is the first test shot, taken on my way back from Yodobashi. So far, I’m thrilled!
