Lake Tahoe: same place, same view with different compositions: do not hesitate to move around, playing with aperture whenever possible. Rule of thumb: if you just stand and shoot, it’s unlikely to be interesting.

Sometimes you’ve got to take a few risks for a great shot—this time, it meant my 5D getting splashed with seawater! Totally worth it for the dramatic results, but I’ll admit, my heart skipped a beat. Fingers crossed the camera’s none the worse for wear! 😅
